Past & Present Members who made significant contributions to SDNA


Anne Trotter

President of the 1964 ‘Division Committee’ and instrumental in the formation of the new association to be known as Springvale & District Women’s Basketball Association. Anne is a life member of both Dandenong & District Netball Association and SDNA.

Teany Dickson

Very First President in 1965 and also a Former President and a Life Member of the Dandenong & District Netball Association and SDNA.

Lynne Fleming

Longest serving President (1974 -1989). In 2008, Lynne re-joined the SDNA committee and continues to be an active member. SDNA Life member

John Castles

Former Netball Victoria Board Member continues to show an active interest in SDNA and currently holds the position SDNA Disputes Officer. SDNA Life member

Umpires

Umpires who attained ‘A’ Badgesand contributed to the development of other umpires during many years of service – Barb Cox, Kath Cushen (SDNA Life member), Nola McConchie (SDNA Life Member)& Ann Castles (SDNA Life member).

Norma Plummer

Played for Victoria & Australia. Coach of the Australian team 2004 – 2011. On Australia Day 2013 was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her services to the sport of netball.

Former National Coach of England & Fiji, Melbourne Phoenix and Melbourne Vixens
